Tattoo dedications
Reclaim Your Ink. Reconnect With Your Body.
Getting tattooed is an inherently somatic event—it involves physical endurance, altering one's body image, and navigating a vulnerable dynamic between you and the artist. When a session feels off or overwhelming, the nervous system can hold onto that dysregulation right alongside the ink (we love our favorite tattooists though!).
By combining licensed bodywork with intentional somatic release, Tattoo Dedication creates space to process the experience, discharge lingering stress, and re-anchor the artwork to its original meaning.
Â
You might find yourself looking at a piece you loved in concept, only to feel a disconnect or sense of numbness around the area; lingering tension, anxiety, or hypervigilance when you remember the session; a sense that the tattoo feels "attached" to you rather than part of you.
This service helps close that loop—giving your body and psyche the space they need to finish processing the experience so you can fully step into your new skin.
Â
This service is a sanctuary for you if:
-
You received a piece during a stressful or uncomfortable appointment and want to clear the "bad vibes" attached to it.
-
You are feeling post-tattoo dissociation, regret, or vulnerability after a major visual change to your body.
-
You want to transform a physical rite of passage into an empowering moment of body autonomy.
-
You love your tattoo, but your nervous system is still holding onto the physical endurance of getting it.
Tattoo Dedication is a gentle, full-body somatic service. If your tattoo is still healing, light touch and energy work are focused on surrounding tissues, nervous system hubs (feet, hands, occiput), and complementary pathways to avoid disturbing delicate skin. Very old tattoos are honored with grounded licensed touch and nervous system awareness, using gentle hold points, light tissue work, and quiet focus to help your body process stored physical and emotional stress, while your mind and soul claim your imagery and symbolism.
What to Expect
i. Ground & Debrief
We sit together to discuss the story behind the piece, the setting where it was received, and where tension lives in your body today.
ii. Somatic Release
Through gentle, targeted touch, breath guidance, and hold points along central nervous system hubs, we release localized tissue guarding.
iii. Integration
We close with a quiet, intentional moment to honor the artwork, clearing lingering energy and reclaiming your narrative.
